A recent article titled Maximizing the Value of Rigorous Research Through NIH-Funded Data and Biospecimen Repositories, with NIH Institute and Center Perspectives in the NIH Extramural Nexus, a blog hosted by the NIH Office of Extramural Research, highlighted the importance of BioSEND and similar NIH-funded biorepositories.
New Samples Available
Specimens collected through Access for All in ALS (ALL ALS) are now available for request! ALL ALS is a multi-site research consortium enrolling individuals with ALS, those genetically at-risk for ALS, and healthy controls, collecting multiple blood-based samples and CSF. Longitudinal visits and enrollment are ongoing.
